Crop

See the 3:4 before the feed takes it

A tall photograph does not survive the grid intact. The crop is drawn on the tile before you post, so the thing you framed is still in the frame.

Pick the frame a reel shows

A reel's cover is the one frame of it your profile ever shows. Upload the video, scrub to the frame you want, and the grid keeps that one.

Grid

The whole profile, pins and all

Posts do not land one at a time; they land next to eight others. Move them around until the profile reads, with pinned posts held where the app holds them.

The grid

Your grid, before it is your grid

Six real tiles with the crop drawn on them, and a label on every post that says whether it survives. That is the whole tool. It does one thing, it does it in a screen, and it costs nothing.

What it shows

Real tiles with the crop drawn on them, and a label on every draft that says whether it survives.

What you keep

Every draft you have made, to archive, edit or reuse. Your drafts stay in your account until you delete them.

A few things worth knowing.

Is it really free?

Free forever. The current Grid Planner feature set is available without a paid subscription. It is on the rate card at that price, in writing.

Why is the crop 3:4?

Because that is what Instagram shows in the grid. It is their crop, not ours — this only draws it where you can see it.

Can I reorder posts in it?

Yes, and the crop redraws as you do. Order changes what sits next to what, which is half of why a grid works.

Does it post for me?

No. Grid Planner does not publish to Instagram and does not require posting access.

What happens to my drafts?

They stay in your account until you delete them. Aubrium does not publish Grid Planner drafts to Instagram on your behalf.

I have been using Aubrium for our agency and I am very happy with everything we can deliver for our clients. As an agency we get excellent customer service.
