General timing guidance

Research default: posting midweek (Tue–Thu), 9am–1pm or 6–10pm tends to perform best on average; 1–5am is the quietest.

Timing is a small lever, not a promise. Your own audience can override this default.

Build a consistent routine

Nothing about the content changed. The cadence did, and then the format did, and the score followed both — in the order Performance put them in, which was not the order the account would have guessed.

Fixed first

Review your content mix

The two smallest changes on the list, and the two nobody believes matter. The account made them because they were free to try, and the score moved before the month was out.

Fixed first
posting time, Monday to Thursday evening
Then
cut the hashtag count from 28 to 9

Track the changes you make

The slowest of the three, and the most honest about what this does: it is not a switch. It is a list, in order, and the account worked down it.

Fixed first
hook length, first 3 seconds
Then
stopped posting the same thing twice a month

A few things worth knowing.

Can’t find what you need? We’re happy to help.

Talk to us
What does Performance cost?

Nothing. Performance is included for all members at no charge.

What is the score actually measuring?

How your account is performing against accounts of your size in your niche, not against the platform. That is why a 75 means something different at 2k followers than at 200k.

How often does it update?

Weekly. Often enough to see a change you made, rarely enough that you are not watching a number move for its own sake.

Do I need to give you posting access?

No. Add the public profile you want to analyse — no login or posting access is required.

I have been using Aubrium for our agency and I am very happy with everything we can deliver for our clients. As an agency we get excellent customer service.
