How do I search a topic?

A search finds the viral reels about any topic — a subject, a trend, even a place.

Type it in the Find Ideas search box and tap Search Instagram, or tap New search in My Searches. We show you the 12 searches we'll run — remove any that aren't quite right — and the cost, before anything is spent.

About 2 minutes later its reels are in Find Ideas, the most viral first. A place ("greece", "top restaurants in dubai") opens on creators from everywhere; anything else opens on your region, and you can change it like any filter.

Want what's new later? Tap Search again: it adds the new reels and marks them New. A search that finds no viral reels costs nothing. Current prices are on our pricing page.
