The best websites to find viral content to recreate (2026)
Where to find viral videos worth remaking on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and how to recreate one so it's yours, not a copy. With our team's test numbers.

You've found a video that took off. Same niche as you, an account not much bigger than yours, millions of views. The obvious move is to film the same thing tomorrow, word for word.
Hold off. Re-uploading the original won't get you far, because Instagram puts the original ahead of copies. And a word-for-word remake hands your audience someone else's video with your face on it. The better move is to keep the shape of the video and change almost everything else.
So this guide does two things. First, the websites worth using to find viral content in the first place, for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Second, how to recreate what you find so it's genuinely yours. We make one of these sites, Aubrium, which covers Instagram only, so we've tried to be straight about where the others are the better pick.
It depends where you post. For Instagram, Aubrium: every viral reel in it comes from an account with 1,000 to 100,000 followers. For TikTok, TikTok Creative Center shows what's trending, free. For YouTube, 1of10 finds videos that beat their channel's average. For all three in one search, Viral Outliers. Whatever you use, recreate the format and the hook's shape, never the words.
What makes a video worth recreating?
A video is worth recreating when the idea did the work, not the account. That means two things to check before you start.
First, it beat its account. A video from a famous account gets views because people already follow it. A video that reached far past its creator's usual, or far past their followers, travelled on the idea. That's the part you can borrow.
Second, the account is close to your size. In our library of viral Instagram reels, the middle hit from an account under 2,000 followers reached 92.4 times its follower count. From an account with 50,000 to 100,000 followers, it was 9.1 times. A small account's hit had no audience to lean on, so it's the better lesson for you.

The sites, one by one
1. Aubrium
Library of viral Instagram postsFrom $49/moBest for: Instagram creators who want reels to remake from accounts their size
Aubrium is a library of Instagram reels and posts that reached far more people than their creator has followers, all from accounts with 1,000 to 100,000 followers. There are more than 280,000 of them, and new ones arrive every day.
Each post shows what you need to remake it: the hook, the format, the sound, the caption, and the full transcript when someone speaks. You can filter by niche, country, format, hook type and whether the creator shows their face. When you find one, Make my version writes your own script, 20 hooks and a caption, moved into your niche rather than copied.

Text search, three platformsFrom $17/moBest for: Finding viral videos on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram in one search
Viral Outliers searches posts across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram and scores each one against its account's usual views. It has an API, and a writer that remakes a post's script for you.
Its remakes were strong in our blind test, a close second. They kept every idea, but they also kept a lot of the words: 17% of their four-word phrases were the original's own. Its search matches any text containing your letters, and its default results lean towards big accounts.
- Pricing
- $17, $37 or $149 a month4
- Trial
- 7 days, with a card
- Platforms
- Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
- Three platforms in one search
- An API

3. TikTok Creative Center
TikTok's trend pagesFreeBest for: Seeing what's trending on TikTok, free
TikTok's Creative Center is a free set of pages built for advertisers. Its Trends section shows trending hashtags by industry and time frame, each with a trendline, related videos and where it's popular.8 Older copies of the page also listed trending songs, creators and videos. Today's Trends page only loads in a browser, so we couldn't confirm which of those it still shows.
It's TikTok only, and it points you at hashtags rather than the videos worth remaking. Use it to spot a topic early, then find the best version of it yourself. We didn't test it hands-on.
- Pricing
- Free; you can browse without logging in8
- Platforms
- TikTok

- By industry and time frame

4. 1of10
YouTube outlier searchFreeBest for: Finding YouTube videos that beat their channel
1of10 is for YouTube only. It finds "the videos that beat their channel's average by 10x or more, in any niche", and adds title and thumbnail tools for YouTubers.9 Its free plan gives 60 credits a month and shows five results in an outlier search, with no card needed.
If you post Shorts or long YouTube videos, it's the specialist. For Reels and TikTok it has nothing. We didn't test it hands-on.
- Pricing
- A free plan; Basic $19 a month, or $15 billed yearly; Pro $899
- Trial
- Free plan, no card; a 7-day money-back guarantee
- Platforms
- YouTube
- Outliers at 10 times the channel's average

5. Virlo
AI search + research agentsFrom $49/moBest for: Teams who want trend alerts on three platforms
Virlo searches TikTok, Instagram and YouTube with an AI assistant and research agents that keep collecting videos on a topic. It's built for teams and agencies.
On Instagram it was weaker in our test. Its search matches an AI summary of each video, so half the results didn't have the keyword, and most of the Instagram reels its agents collected had fewer views than the account has followers. Its remakes were written from each reel's title rather than the reel itself, and turned a run of baking fails into a beauty-hack review.
- Pricing
- $49 or $199 a month. Enterprise from $499.5
- Trial
- 7 days; no refunds after the trial ends
- Platforms
- TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts
- Agents that keep searching
- Built for teams
- Remakes written from the title, not the video
- Weaker on Instagram
6. Sandcastles
Watchlist + global searchFrom $49/moBest for: Tracking a list of channels on three platforms
Sandcastles covers Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You build a watchlist of channels, and from Pro up you can search everything its users have added. It also keeps more than 100 curated collections of outlier videos across niches.12
Its search results lean towards big, older videos: the typical account in our test had 125,849 followers.3 Its scripts turned the reels into long talking essays and placed seventh of nine tools in our blind test.
- Pricing
- $49, $99 or $499 a month. New accounts start on a $5 Starter.6
- Trial
- No free plan. No refunds from Pro up.
- Platforms
- Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
- Three platforms
- Curated collections by niche
- Mostly big and older videos
- Long scripts, no captions
7. Revid
AI video maker + viral searchFrom $39/moBest for: Turning a viral video into an AI-made one
Revid searches what's going viral on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, and a public page on its site lists "The most liked Reels across 12 niches, updated daily", with no sign-up.10 Its main product is an AI video maker: it can turn a post into "a remix, a Part 2, or a restyle of the real footage", then publish it for you.
Two things to watch. Its viral Reels page ranks by likes, so a big account's post sits beside a small account's hit with nothing to tell them apart. And if a remake keeps the original's footage, run it through Instagram's originality test below before you post. We didn't test it hands-on.
- Pricing
- Growth $39 a month, or $32 billed yearly; Ultra $19910
- Trial
- Sign up without a card; new accounts get credits to try it
- Platforms
- Searches TikTok, YouTube and Instagram
- Search on three platforms
- Makes the video for you
- Ranked by likes, not against the account
- Can reuse the original footage
8. CILA
WatchlistFrom $24/moBest for: Outliers from accounts you choose, on Instagram and TikTok
CILA tracks any public Instagram or TikTok account you add and compares each post with that account's usual, so the outliers stand out. You can sort accounts into lists by brand, client or niche, and its Creator plan covers 50 accounts, updated daily.11
It finds outliers among the accounts you already know, not new ones. We didn't test it hands-on; this comes from its own site.
- Pricing
- $24 a month, $12 for the first month; Business is $4811
- Trial
- No free plan or trial on its site; a 7-day money-back guarantee
- Platforms
- Instagram, TikTok
- Outliers against each account's usual
- Two platforms in one list
- Only the accounts you add
How do you recreate a viral video without copying it?
Keep the shape and change the substance. The shape is the part that made people stop and watch: the format, the way the hook opens, the order of the beats, the pace. The substance is what it's about: the subject, the words, the setting, the person.
Instagram's own guidelines give a useful test for this.
“A useful way to check is that if someone could remove your contribution to your post or reel, and the content would virtually be the same, it probably needs more of you in it.”
Run your remake through that. If the only thing that's yours is your face, it's a copy with you in it.
The format: a list, a story, a before and after, a skit.
The hook's shape: a question, a bold claim, a "POV".
The order of the beats, and roughly the length and pace.
This is what made people watch. The subject, moved into your niche or your life.
Every line of the script, in your own words.
The setting, the examples, the ending.
Keeping these is what makes it a copy. What a good remake looks like
In our blind test, three AI reviewers judged remakes of five viral reels from nine tools against the originals.2 The versions that won kept the idea and the kind of video, and moved them somewhere new.
A reel about a pilates class in a parking lot, after the instructor didn't show, became a barre class in an apartment courtyard: "I did barre in the apartment courtyard because the instructor didn't show up." A coffee cart's first quote became a custom market display. Same shape, new world.
The remakes that stayed too close lost ground. We measured how many of each version's four-word phrases appeared word for word in the original. Aubrium's: 1.3%. Viral Outliers': 17%, and 38% on the pilates reel. One reviewer said that pilates version was "so close to the original wording it barely sounds like a new creator."
Which parts of a viral reel can you borrow?
More than you'd think. A lot of what makes a viral reel work doesn't depend on who's in it. Across our library of viral Instagram reels:
Aubrium's library of viral Instagram reels, read 4 November 2026. Every one already went viral, so none of this is the odds for a new reel.
That's good news if you're recreating. Text on screen, a format and a hook line are all things you can rebuild from scratch in your own words, in your own space, without being on camera.
Before you post a remake
- Yes: The format and the hook's shape are the original's
- Yes: Every line of the script is yours
- Yes: The subject sits in your niche or your life
- Yes: You filmed it yourself, or built it from your own material
- No: It's the original video, re-uploaded with a new caption
- No: It's the original's script, read out word for word
Don't re-upload the original, even with credit. Instagram recommends the original over a copy and stops recommending accounts that mostly post other people's work.7
Questions people ask
What is the best website to find viral content to recreate?
For Instagram, Aubrium: every reel in it comes from an account with 1,000 to 100,000 followers, with its hook, format and sound. For TikTok, TikTok Creative Center shows trending hashtags, free, and for YouTube, 1of10 finds videos that beat their channel's average. For TikTok, YouTube and Instagram in one search, Viral Outliers.
Is it allowed to recreate a viral video?
Remaking an idea in your own words, with your own footage, is how ideas spread on Instagram. Re-uploading someone else's video is different: Instagram puts the original ahead of copies and stops recommending accounts that mostly post other people's work. Its guidelines also point to separate intellectual property rules on using someone else's work, so film your own. This isn't legal advice.
How do I recreate a viral reel without copying it?
Keep the format, the hook's shape and the order of the beats. Change the subject, every line of the script, the setting and the ending. If someone could remove your part and the video would be the same, it needs more of you.
Where can I find viral TikToks to recreate?
TikTok Creative Center shows trending hashtags on TikTok by industry, free and without logging in. To find the TikToks that beat their account's usual, Viral Outliers, Virlo and Sandcastles search TikTok too, and CILA tracks TikTok accounts you add.
Can I find viral content from accounts my size?
Yes, on Instagram. Every account in Aubrium's library has between 1,000 and 100,000 followers. Viral Outliers and Virlo let you filter by follower count.
Do I need to show my face to recreate a viral reel?
No. In Aubrium's library of viral Instagram reels, 37.6% never show a face, and 83.7% put text on screen.
How we did this
The tools' findings come from our team's hands-on study of viral reel finders in October 2026: more than 1,300 searches with the same keywords in each, and a blind test of their script writers on five viral reels, judged by three AI reviewers from three companies. The "words copied" figure is the share of a version's four-word phrases that appear word for word in the original. TikTok Creative Center, 1of10, Revid and CILA weren't tested hands-on: what we say about them comes from their own sites. TikTok's current Trends page only loads in a browser, so we describe it from its help pages. Aubrium's library numbers come from its own database, read on 4 November 2026.
Prices are from each tool's own site, read on 4 November 2026. Apps change; if something here is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it and move the date. And yes, Aubrium makes this page.
