A trip to a cat cafe: rooms full of cats, kittens in aprons, cat cafe dates. It's the rarest idea here. 19 creators made one; the middle reel travelled 25× its creator's followers, most often as montages. A real one: “Finally visited the famous cat cafe in Binondo” (95,819 views, 2,207 followers).

Which cat reel ideas travelled furthest?

Cat mom gadgets and gifts went furthest. Their middle reel reached 84 times its creator's followers, just ahead of funny moments at 78×.

Toys and breed spotlights come next, at 64× and 62×. Grooming, health and rescue reels sit at the bottom, at 30×, 29× and 29×.

Which cat ideas worked for small accounts?

For accounts under 10,000 followers, cat grooming went furthest, at 253×, though from just 21 reels. Nearly half the viral cat reels here, 46%, came from accounts that size.

Funny moments came second for them, at 201×, from a much bigger group of 129 reels.

We looked at every viral cat reel in Aubrium's library on 3 November 2026: 1,400+ reels from 1,100+ creators with 1,000 to 100,000 followers, each of which reached far more people than its creator has followers. We counted every reel filed in Aubrium's cat niche; a reel can sit in more than one niche.

Aubrium's reader gives every reel a few topic labels. We grouped the labels that name the same idea and counted each reel once per idea; a reel can fit more than one idea. Every number here describes reels that already went viral, so none of it is the odds for a new one.
