Bedtime, naps and crib switches run all through these hooks. We read the first line of the 400+ viral baby sleep reels in Aubrium's library, from 300+ creators, and sorted them by kind, length and how they're delivered. This page belongs to the best hooks for Instagram reels, one niche at a time. For niches outside parenting, see what goes viral in each niche.
Curiosity gaps are the most common hook on viral baby sleep reels, at 24%, then relatable lines at 20%. Warnings are fewer, at 8%, but their middle reel reached 54 times its creator's followers. 96% show the hook as text on screen, and the middle hook is 12 words.

What kind of hook works best for baby sleep reels?
Curiosity gaps come first, on 24% of these reels, then relatable lines at 20% and bold claims at 13%. Of the groups big enough to count, warnings went furthest.
The middle warning reached 54 times its creator's followers, ahead of relatable lines at 39 and bold claims at 37. Callouts and aspirational lines sit higher on the chart, at 87 and 627 times, but there are only 11 and 4 of them. The warnings we found give safety or health advice, so we kept them out of the list below: a line like that needs a doctor behind it, not a chart. Just 2% of these reels have no hook of any type.
