Transformation teases open 17% of viral body care reels, more than any other kind, with relatable lines and curiosity gaps at 15% each. Relatable lines, bold claims and teases all reached 25 to 27 times followers. Hooks of 5 to 8 words travelled furthest, 34 times. 79% show the hook on screen, and the middle one is 10 words.

What kind of hook works best for body care reels?
Transformation teases, but only just: 17% of body care reels open on one, a tan or a scrub before the reveal, with relatable lines and curiosity gaps at 15% each.
Three types bunch together on reach: relatable lines at 27 times the account's followers for the middle reel, bold claims at 26 and teases at 25. Two rarer kinds went further, aspirational lines at 38 and POV hooks at 36, but they open only 22 and 19 reels. Questions trailed at 13, and the 19% with no hook of any type reached 16.

Medium-short. Hooks of 5 to 8 words travelled furthest, well ahead of every other length.
That 5 to 8 word band is 26% of the set, and its middle reel reached 34 times its account's followers. At 9 to 12 words it was 25, and the shortest, 1 to 4 words, got 16.
