What kind of car wraps and tint reels go viral?
Tutorials lead at 30%, and here that means the install itself, step by step. Montages follow at 22%, transformations at 16% and before-and-afters at 13%.
Before-and-afters went furthest of the common formats: 41 times their creator's followers for the middle one, against 35 for tutorials and 30 for montages and transformations. Skits reached 40, but there are only 19 of them. Stories sit higher at 58, but only 16 reels tell one, too few to call. Talking heads are 4% and reached just 11.
Do you need to show your face?
No, and the faceless ones went further. 58% leave the face out, and their median reel hit 36× followers, against 23× for reels showing one. Only 17% show no person at all, so many show someone without a face, like hands at work on the car.
Should car wraps and tint reels have text on screen?
Just over half: a line or two on 49%, heavy text on 5%, and nothing on 47%. The ones with no text went furthest, 34 times followers for the middle one, against 29 with a little text and 22 with a lot. Heavy text is rare here: only 32 reels carry a lot of it.
Trending song or your own sound?
Their own sound, at 56%. A song sits at 37%, exactly the library's usual. On a wrap reel the job makes its own noise, and most shops keep it. Own sound and songs travelled about as far, 32 and 30 times followers. The few reels using another creator's sound, 7%, went 50 times.
What hooks work for car wraps and tint reels?
The curiosity gap is the most-used hook, on 10% of these reels, with transformation teases on 9%. About half the reels skip a hook altogether: 48% have none of any type and just start on the car. The middle hook is 9 words. A typed hook went much further than a spoken one: 42 times followers against 19. Six of them, word for word:

Can a small car wraps and tint account go viral?
They can, and here they're the majority: 54% of these reels came from accounts under 10,000 followers. Under 2,000 followers, the middle reel reached 94 times its account's size. In the 50,000 to 100,000 band, 14×. In this niche a small shop with one good install video is the usual poster of a viral reel, not the exception.
