How to go viral in the florist niche on Instagram
What 800+ viral florist reels have in common: what they show, how they start, what they sound like, and who posts them. Real numbers from Aubrium's library.

"A little blue, a lot of love." That's how the caption opens on one florist's transformation reel. Posted by a florist with 7,176 followers, it reached 10.2 million views.
It's a fair picture of the niche: bouquets, floral design and life behind the counter. Across 800+ viral florist reels in Aubrium's library, the middle reel came from an account with 9,306 followers. 120+ cleared a million views, and the biggest got to 51.3 million. Here's what the arrangements on screen have in common. Our guide to the reels that go viral in any niche gives the wider picture, and every niche we looked at is one click away.
Viral florist reels are built around the bouquet: tutorials are the biggest group, at 31%, then montages at 22%. About half show a face, at 51%, but the faceless ones travelled further. 70% carry words on screen, 51% run a song, and 52% were posted by accounts below 10,000 followers.

What kind of florist reels go viral?
Tutorials lead, at 31%, with montages close behind at 22%.
Transformations, skits and tours each landed at 25 views per follower for their middle reel, and slideshows at 23, all ahead of tutorials at 17 and montages at 14. Transformations are the most common of the four, at 11%. A bouquet coming together is the obvious story to tell, and plenty of florists tell it.
Do you need to show your face?
No, though it's close to a coin flip: 51% of viral florist reels show a face and 49% don't. The faceless half went much further, 25 views per follower at the middle against 13 when a face is on screen. 22% show no person at all.
Should florist reels have text on screen?
A short line, yes. 63% carry a little text, and those travelled furthest: 20 views per follower for their middle reel, against 16 for heavy text and 15 with none. Heavy text is rare in flowers, at 6%.
Trending song or your own sound?
Usually a song. 51% of viral florist reels run one, well above the library-wide 37%, and 39% use the shop's own sound. Reach was close across all three: 18 views per follower with a song, 17 with their own audio and 20 with a sound borrowed from another creator.
What hooks work for florist reels?
Curiosity gaps lead, on 16% of these reels, and 35% open with no hook of any type. The type that travelled furthest is rare: aspirational lines open only 26 reels, yet their middle one pulled 39 views per follower. Relatable lines and POV hooks sat at 21.
