How to go viral in the mobility niche on Instagram
What 500+ viral mobility reels have in common: what they show, how they start, what they sound like, and who posts them. Real numbers from Aubrium's library.

A group of coaches posted "Friendly reminder: Do your mobility exercises today ❤️" as a faceless skit, then asked in the caption that you ignore any evidence they skipped their own. It reached 13.2 million views from an account of 15,260 followers.
Most mobility reels are plainer than that: a stretch, a drill, a routine to copy along with. Rank the 500+ viral mobility reels in Aubrium's library by the poster's follower count, and the one in the middle sits on an account of 18,376 followers. 110+ of them went past a million views. The rules that hold across every niche get their own guide, and the niche-by-niche list has the others.
Viral mobility reels are follow-along tutorials, 82% of them, and most run on music: 62% use a song, against 37% library-wide. 88% show a face, 78% look polished, and 93% put text on screen. Transformations are rare but reached 39 times their followers. A third, 33%, come from accounts under 10,000 followers.

What kind of mobility reels go viral?
Tutorials, overwhelmingly. 82% of viral mobility reels show a drill, a stretch or a routine. Everything else is a sliver: transformations at 6%, montages and lists at 3% each.
Those slivers travelled further. A tutorial's middle reel managed 16× its account's followers, while transformations, 30 of them, got to 39×. Montages (18 reels) and skits (6) sit higher still, but they're too few to read.
Do you need to show your face?
Most do, at 88%, and the faceless 12% went about as far: 19× against 17× with a face, comparing middle reels. Only 1% show nobody at all, fair enough when the demo is a body. Talking to camera is rare, at 12%.
Should mobility reels have text on screen?
Yes: 93% carry some, usually a line or two (71%). Reels without any words on screen are just 7%, yet they reached 24×, while light and heavy text both sat at 17×.
Trending song or your own sound?
A song, for 62% of them, a long way past the library's 37%. Their own sound covers 34%. Song and own audio reached exactly the same 17×. Borrowed sounds hit 50×, but too few reels use one to lean on.
What hooks work for mobility reels?
Bold claims and curiosity gaps open the most reels, 15% each, and transformation teases follow at 13%. Those teases went furthest, at 26 times the account's followers, well clear of every other type on the chart. 12% open with no real hook, and the middle hook is a short 8 words. Six that worked:

- Transformation teaseText on screen

Polished, or filmed on your phone?
Polished, at 78%. Yet the 21% shot plainly on a phone reached 26×, against 16× for the glossy ones. Pace hardly varies: 89% move at a medium speed. The 39 fast reels got to 31×, against 17× at medium.
Can a small mobility account go viral?
Yes. A third of them, 33%, were posted by accounts below 10,000 followers. Read the size chart from the top: accounts under 2,000 followers saw their middle reel hit 71×, the 2,000 to 5,000 followers band 45×, and the biggest band, 50,000 to 100,000 followers, just 9×.
