What kind of hook works best for hip-hop reels?

Two types run neck and neck: bold claims open 20% of viral hip-hop reels, and curiosity gaps 19%.

On reach, the curiosity gap edges ahead. Its middle reel went 16× its account's followers, with relatable lines close at 15× and bold claims at 13×. Call that a near tie, not a winner. Here a bold claim can be pure praise for someone's bars ("No autotune. No retakes. Just pure skill"), and a curiosity gap can lean on a famous name. Then there's the 28% with no hook of any type, whose middle reel went 13×.
