How long should a racquet sports hook be?
Short. Racquet hooks sit at 7 words in the middle, and the tightest ones went furthest.
Here 62% run 8 words or fewer. The 1–4 word ones went 27 times the account's followers, the 5–8 word ones 24. Every band after that is lower, down to 10 times past 20 words. "FOREHAND SIMPLIFIED" says the whole lesson in two.
Should you say the hook or show it?
On court, text wins. 71% of these reels put the hook on screen, and 62% use text with no voice.
With silent text, the middle reel reached 23 times followers, and with a spoken hook, 17. Doing both at once did worst, at 10. Let the rally make the noise and put the words on screen.

The word "the" comes first most often, 17 times, ahead of "this", "how", "when" and "I". The sport's own name is a common opener too: "pickleball" starts 7 hooks and "tennis" starts 6.
