What 700+ viral tattoo reels have in common: what they show, how they start, what they sound like, and who posts them. Real numbers from Aubrium's library.

Aubrium ResearchEditorial · Updated

One tattoo skit opens on a firing: "Hey enjoy your last day! bc your fired!!" The caption says you never leave this artist's chair unhappy, whatever's going on in your life. Posted to 4,386 followers, it reached 16.9 million views.

Skits are rare in tattoo, and they travel. The middle reel of 700+ viral tattoo reels in Aubrium's library came from an account with 12,908 followers. 170+ topped a million views, and the biggest hit 56.2 million. Here's what these artists do, from the first line to the healed piece. The guide to which reels go viral covers all niches, and every niche we looked at has its own list.
