What kind of unique stays reels go viral?
Tours, by a long way: 59% walk you through the stay. Montages come second, at 21%.
Stories are a smaller group, 8% of these reels, and they reached 23 times their creator's followers, against 15 for a tour and 18 for a montage. A few rare formats sit far higher on the chart, like POV reels at 141 times, but there are only 11 of them. So most of these reels simply show the stay, and the few told as a story went further.
Do you need to show your face?
No. Two in three of these reels, 66%, never show a face, and 41% have nobody in the frame at all. Those faceless reels reached 20 times their creator's followers in the middle, against 12 for reels with a face. Talking to camera is rare here: 10%.
Should unique stays reels have text on screen?
Yes, a light line of it. 86% carry text, and 83% stop at a line or two. Only 18 reels use a lot of text, too few to judge. The 14% with no text at all went further than the ones with a line, 22 times their creator's followers against 15. Some of these stays are shown without a single word.
Trending song or your own sound?
A song, in just over half: 52%. Across the whole library it's 37%. Another 40% keep their own sound and 8% borrow someone else's. The three reached 17, 14 and 16 times their creator's followers, close together.

Curiosity gaps lead, at 20%, while 16% open with no real hook. The middle hook runs 10 words, and 79% of these reels put it on screen. Relatable lines, curiosity gaps and POV hooks sit at 21 to 23 times their creator's followers, so no type stands clear. Six that opened viral stays:
