How to go viral in the weight loss niche on Instagram
What 800+ viral weight loss reels have in common: what they show, how they start, what they sound like, and who posts them. Real numbers from Aubrium's library.

The hook says "Weight loss, weight gain" four times over, and nothing else. The caption makes the point: no single food causes either on its own. That list reached 20.2 million views from an account of 38,005 followers.
Many weight loss reels on Instagram are about food: calorie notes, meals, what to weigh and how. Of the 800+ viral weight loss reels in Aubrium's library, the median one came from an account with 13,063 followers. 210+ of them passed a million views. We kept this page to what those reels look and sound like, with no promises about bodies. Our guide to what goes viral on Instagram covers every niche, and an index of every niche leads to the others.
