How to go viral in the acne niche on Instagram
What 500+ viral acne reels have in common: what they show, how they start, what they sound like, and who posts them. Real numbers from Aubrium's library.

The hook is a blackhead talking: "Stop squeezing. I'm a blackhead." It goes on to tell you, in its own voice, to keep your hands off. The reel is a tutorial, its caption repeats the message, and it reached 17.1 million views from a creator with 99,536 followers.
This is a niche of acne journeys and skin concerns. In Aubrium's library of 500+ viral acne reels, the middle reel came from an account with 17,929 followers; 140+ cleared a million views, and one reached 132.8 million. Our guide to what goes viral anywhere covers every niche, and all the niches we've covered are listed together.

How we did this
We looked at every acne reel in Aubrium's library on 31 October 2026: 500+ reels from 400+ creators with 1,000 to 100,000 followers, each of which reached far more people than its creator has followers. We counted every reel filed in Aubrium's acne niche; a reel can sit in more than one niche.
Format, faces, text, sound and hooks are labels Aubrium's reader puts on every post. Every number here describes reels that already went viral, so none of it is the odds for a new one.
