How long should a golf lifestyle hook be?
Short. The shorter the hook, the further it travelled, step by step.
Golf's 1–4 word hooks reached 43 times their creator's followers. Every longer band did worse, down to 10 times past 20 words. Yet only 40% of hooks here are 8 words or fewer. Most golf lifestyle creators still write long.
Should you say the hook or show it?
Write it. 69% of these reels show the hook as text on screen, 51% with no voice at all.
Typed alone, the middle reel travelled 40 times followers. Spoken hooks got 11, and text with a voice got 18. A short caption over a shot from the course is the house style, and the numbers back it.
