How long should a restaurant review hook be?
Five to eight words did best. The middle review hook is 11 words.
With hooks of 5–8 words, the middle reel reached 13 times its creator's followers. Every other length sat between 7 and 9, the very short ones included. A review needs room for the place and the dish, and 8 words is about enough for both.
Should you say the hook or show it?
Show it. Written hooks went further than spoken ones, though the gap is small.
The middle reel with its hook as text alone reached 13 times its creator's followers. With text and a voice together, the most common choice here at 38%, it was 9. Spoken alone, 8. Reviewers talk a lot, but reels with the written line went further.
