Callouts lead: lines that name who the drill is for, like "Footballers!" or "ATHLETES". Number lists, curiosity gaps and relatable lines went about as far as each other, and further than callouts.
A callout works like a coach shouting across the field. If you play the sport, it's for you. The middle callout reached 15 times its creator's followers. Number lists, "7 Things Killing Your Speed" for one, reached 20. Curiosity gaps and relatable lines both reached 18. Bold claims did least well of the common types, at 10. Negative hooks hit 31, but there are only 15 of them. And 20% of these reels have no real hook.
